Richard Cambridge – Actor Biography

Richard now plays Pete Webster in Hollyoaks on Channel 4. He has been working professionally as an actor for over 10 years.

Richard began working as an actor when he was 15, in commericals and as a model.

After leaving university Richard was offered the lead role in UK feature film ‘Distant Bridges' playing 'Arthur Fisher' a boy signed up for the trenches in WW1.

This very well reviewed film led to a number of projects. A notable success was ‘The Fishmongers Daughter'. This short film won countless awards around the world, and most notably premiered at Sundance.

Richard spent a time living and working in LA being managed by AMG. He can still be seen on network TV in the states as the face of Nestle ‘Butterfinger'. Feature 'Demonic' (UK: Forest of the Damned) also has a good release.

Recently mentioned by the Daily Mail as a 'Bright Young Thing' things are looking good for Richard in 2008.


Richard is a voting member of the British Film Academy, a member of Equity, The New Producers Alliance and the Actors Centre London. He is represented in London by BWH.
