Richard Cambridge – Actor Biography

Richard is best known for playing Pete Webster in Hollyoaks on Channel 4. He has been working professionally as an actor in Film, TV and in Theatre for over 10 years.

After leaving university Richard was offered the lead role in UK feature film ‘Distant Bridges' playing 'Arthur Fisher' a boy signed up for the trenches in WW1.

This very well reviewed film led to a number of projects. A notable success was ‘The Fishmongers Daughter'. This short film won countless awards around the world including many of the major festivals.

During his time in TVs Hollyoaks the Daily Mail cited Richard as a 'Bright Young Thing'. 2009 saw an exiting move towards film projects with the release of 'Shadowstorm' playing Rob - a lethal bionic agent and short film 'Special Delivery' which he also produced.

Richard is a voting member of the British Film Academy, a member of Equity, the Actors Centre London, and was a member of the New Producers Alliance until it closed in 2010 He is represented in London by BWH.
