As Pete’s behaviour worsens, Tina is frustrated with the way Dom is oblivious to her problems. Mrs Webster gets Pete to apologise after Tina plucks up the courage to tell her about his behaviour. A vengeful Pete makes Tina put a hundred chairs in the canteen for a fictional careers night – then makes her take them out again on the pretence the event has been cancelled. Exhausted and dishevelled from the job, a physically and emotionally shattered Tina comes home to find Dom too pre-occupied with his own problems to listen to her.
Amy is shocked when a social worker calls to investigate reports that Leah may be at risk. The social worker informs Amy and Ste that the department has information drugs were consumed on the premises during last night’s party while the baby was inside. Mike is surprised when Amy accuses him of grassing her to social services about drugs at the party. Vowing that nothing they will do will break up her little family, Amy takes Ste’s hand and turns her back on them.Louise is reminded of the tangled threads of her life when Carmel suggests Louise should start planning her wedding. Carmel is shocked when Louise explains that if Sean doesn’t show up, she will have to wait seven years before she can marry. But Louise is taken aback when Carmel offers to plan a commitment ceremony for Louise and Warren as a trial run for a career as a wedding planner. Carmel is far from daunted as Louise ridicules the idea. When she offers to plan Louise’s engagement party, Louise is reminded of her engagement ring but is filled with horror when she looks at her finger.Jessica spends the night curled up on the sofa after Elliot barricaded himself in her room. Elliot continues to occupy the room the next day, determined to exact his revenge on her for letting his rooms while he was away. Anxious to get into her room to freshen up after a heavy night, Jessica really feels the frustration as Elliot digs in his heels. Jessica is determined to do anything she can to get her room back

Tina is a bundle of nerves as she struggles to cope with Pete’s increasingly suggestive antics. With no one to talk to, Tina feels totally alone and has no idea how to handle the situation. As Pete’s harassment intensifies, Tina finds herself at the end of her tether.
Amy reluctantly agrees to Michaela’s idea of a housewarming party. The rest of the gang, including Sasha and Fletch, are all for it as a show of support for Amy but the last place Josh wants to be is at Amy and Ste’s. With the party in full flow, Sarah’s shocked when she sees Tommo lighting a spliff. When she tells Amy about the drugs Ste is forced to throw out his mate. Against his own advice, Josh find himself on the steps that lead to Amy’s flat.Jacqui is struggling to come terms with the break up of her relationship. She sends Mercedes to the flat to find her Maroon 5 tickets, adamant she doesn’t want Tony to take another girl. Tony’s furious when he catches Mercedes in the flat and they quickly start sniping at each other. When Tony sees a morose Jacqui sat in Jubilee Gardens he is overcome with regret and goes over to speak to her determined to makes things up to her.Elliot returns from his travels abroad and is shocked to find that someone is living in his room. He discovers that his things have been replaced by John Paul’s belongings and is dismayed as John Paul reveals Jess has let his room out. Elliot and John Paul agree that Jess needs to pay and an indignant Elliot vows revenge.

Tina feels uncomfortable when Pete comes up a little too close behind her as she hangs up a poster. She turns down Pete’s offer to help carry her files as they walk in the corridors but the files tumble to the floor in an ugly mess when she loses her grip. A desperately worried Tina feels she needs Myra’s advice but her mother is too pre-occupied with her own worries for Jacqui.
Hung-over, Mercedes and Tony wake up having made the worst mistake of their lives. Suspecting nothing, Jacqui comes over to apologise but goes away heartbroken when Tony plays it tough just to rid of her quickly before she discovers Mercedes in the bedroom. Myra stages a dinner to get Jacqui and Tony back together but it flops when a bitter Jacqui rips into Tony. Devastated, Tony insists to Dom that his relationship with Jacqui is definitely over this time. Wracked by guilt, Mercedes contemplates telling Jacqui about their one-night. Amy is beginning to worry as the cash from the crisis loan is nearly gone. Ste reassures Amy there will be more where it came from. Warren ridicules Ste when he comes by looking for a job. Spotting Warren’s jacket on the railings, Ste swipes cash and cards from it, while Warren is momentarily distracted with his mobile. Amy is floored when she comes home and there is hi-fi, flat-screen TV, nappies for Leah and plenty of food. Ste is definitely winning Amy round.Rhys and Beth have an awkward moment when he sees her looking at family photos. Beth begins to feel like an alien who doesn’t belong as Josh turns on her and she overhears Suzanne tell Josh she doesn’t want her in the house. Fed up, Beth packs her bags to return home but a guilty Suzanne is forced to persuade her to stay when she apologises and the two women find themselves bonding as they reminisce about Noel. As Beth finally starts to settle into the family, Rhys knows he’s going to have to learn to fight his attraction

Tina is frustrated by Dom’s distraction as she tries to mend things with him but feels guilty when he confides in her about Tony and Jacqui breaking up. A lecherous Pete has to sweet talk himself out of trouble after letting his hands wander over Tina’s chest while pretending to comfort her. Dom senses something’s amiss with Tina but he has prepared a surprise treat for her – a table for two at some fancy restaurant just to say well done. Tina, however, is still so upset by her earlier encounter with Pete.
Mercedes goads an irate Jacqui over her split with Tony and gets a black eye for her troubles. A morose Tony hits the bottle and whines to Russ about Jacqui’s selfish attitude over his relationship with son, Harry. A drunken Mercedes links up with Tony in the village where the unlikely pair bond as they exchange notes about their miseries. When Tony confesses to once starring in a porn movie, Mercedes grabs a bottle and drags him upstairs to view the DVD. Jacqui phones Tony to tell him she loves him after Myra urges her to get her man back but all she gets is the answer phone. Tony and Mercedes are far too busy enjoying the comforts of his bedroom!Feeling like she is intruding in the Ashworths’ home, Beth leaves hastily to look for accommodation. As Gilly wonders why Rhys does nothing to stop her, a selfish Rhys secretly smirks with satisfaction, glad that things are turning just the way he wants. But when Josh attacks Beth later for using Hannah’s stuff, Rhys finds himself defending her in front of everyone, including Beth.Dom is concerned as Tony takes to the bottle after his bust up with Jacqui. Amy is concerned that Ste steals things to look after her and Leah. She is chuffed though by his valiant efforts to support them and is definitely over the moon when he brings home a hefty crisis loan cheque. Life is suddenly sweet for Amy and Ste – in Amy’s eyes anyway.

Tina is throwing herself into her new job. Her new boss is full of praise for her and Tina is happy that she’s finally making something of herself. Dom is worried that they’re not spending any time together any more and enrolls them both into a historical society. When he excitedly tells Tina about his plans for her them, she’s too preoccupied with her new career. Dom feels sidelined but Tina’s too preoccupied with her own life to notice.
Tony comforts Jacqui when they get a rejection from the adoption agency. As Jacqui comes to terms with never being able to have kids, Tony struggles with not being allowed to see his son, Harry, on his birthday. He confides in Dom that he’s bought a top of the range present but, knowing how Jacqui would react, has had to keep it secret. When Jacqui overhears Tony telling Tessie that Harry’s present is in the post, Jacqui is furious. Jacqui lays down an ultimatum to Tony - it’s her or his son. Jacqui can’t believe it when Tony chooses Harry.Amy is ecstatic when Ste brings her news that he’s got them a council flat. Michaela tries to encourage Amy not to rush into things with Ste but Amy’s steadfast - this move is going to be the best thing that’s happened in ages. When they arrive at the flat, however, Amy is taken aback at the bleakness of it. When Mike arrives, Amy’s expecting more hassle but he reassures her that he’s not there to gloat - he’s just brought her some stuff for the flat. Amy softens and it looks like a father-daughter reunion is on the cards.Gilly offers to help Beth when she is evicted from halls. He’s perplexed by Rhys’ lack of interest in his sister’s plight. Determined not to see Beth homeless, Gilly takes Beth back to the Ashworths’. Neither Beth nor Rhys think this is a good idea but Gilly’s adamant - she’s family and this is where she should be. Gilly is determined to persuade Beth to stay!

Tina and Pete arrange to have a drink so Pete can brief her on the rest of the staff. A short-staffed Dom is left disgruntled as Tina refuses to help him in Il Gnosh in favour of her after hours meeting with Pete. Tina gushes about how much she’s enjoying her new career to her amused colleague and ignores her phone as Dom tries to contact her. Dom’s had enough when Tina returns home and continues to whitter on about Pete.
Tony’s delighted to find Jacqui’s invited Tessie and Harry for tea. An excited Harry enjoys discovering Tony’s restaurant and home as Jacqui struggles to cover her hurt at not being able to bring Tony such happiness herself. Max and O.B are stunned to find out that Harry is Tony’s son. It’s awkward as Jacqui is left alone with Tessie and Harry when Tony dashes off to help Dom out. Left feeling inadequate, Jacqui later admits to Tony that him having a child is too hard for her – he must decide between her or Harry. Gilly’s gutted to find Beth’s off limits when he asks Rhys if he can take her out. It seems Rhys and Beth might be getting along as Zoe suggests the boys join them for a drink. Rhys is embarrassed as Zoe and Gilly joke about his wayward past with the ladies in front of Beth. Jealousy rises for Rhys when Calvin takes a shine to Beth. When Calvin makes a move on her Rhy’s lashes out but Beth puts Rhys in his place and he’s left looking the fool. O.B’s overjoyed to discover Max has hired Summer to work in MOBs but makes clear to Calvin and Danny that she’s out of bounds with a small white lie. Steph is not pleased with the new member of the team and relishes making Summer look foolish on her first day. Steph is furious when Summer upstages her and brings in the customers with her beautiful singing. O.B and Max are forced to step in when an angry Steph throws a smoothie over Summer and the girls brawl in the street.

It’s Tina’s first day as a Careers Assistant and she’s eager to get started. A proud Dom presents her with a plant for her office. Tina’s charmed when her boss, Pete Webster (the head teacher’s son) takes her under his wing and treats her to lunch. As Tina excitedly tells Dom about her day and Pete, he becomes a little jealous but Tina has an idea to make him forget his concerns.
Tony apologises to Jacqui for not telling her that he has a son with Tessie. Insisting she is important to him, Tony reassures Jacqui that he doesn’t want the fact that he has a son to make any difference to his relationship with her. Tony is overwhelmed by Jacqui’s consideration as she asserts that if Harry is going to be a part of his life, then she also wants to be a part of it. Tessie goes to meet Tony only to find it’s Jacqui who wants to see her. Jacqui threatens Tessie that she’s not to come between her and Tony or there will be trouble. Neville complains about Rhys using the house as a cheap hotel just as Beth arrives to see him showing out his latest conquest. Beth reveals she’s brought Rhys some things Noel left in his will, while Rhys takes his anger out on his drums. Suzanne explains to Beth that Rhys has struggled with the news that Noel’s his father and as the family talk about the things Noel left for them, it’s clear a grieving Beth wants to discuss her dad.
